English speaking female and male actors of all ethnicities are invited to audition for this critically acclaimed piece of contemporary theatre. The story follows the incestuous relationship between teenage Li'l Bit and her aunt's husband, Uncle Peck, from her first driving lesson at age 11 to her college years.
Auditions will be held at Spark Drama, 2nd Floor, Jasmine City Building, Bangkok on November 17th, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. The production will run at Spark Drama Space in February and March next year. Please come ready to move and be vocally warmed up!
LI’L BIT - A Woman who ages from 11 years old to mid-thirties. She is “very intelligent with a fire in her brain” but shutdown and defensive to the world.
PECK - Attractive man in his forties. Despite a few problems, he is the man people always ask for help! The neighbour everyone goes to. Similar in style to an ‘Atticus Finch’ character.
MALE GREEK CHORUS – Plays the following roles: Grandfather, Waiter, High School Boys. Age flexible.
1ST FEMALE GREEK CHORUS - Plays the following roles: Mother, Aunt Mary, High School Girls. Age flexible.
2ND FEMALE GREEK CHORUS - Plays the following roles: Grandmother, High School Girls and the Voice of Eleven-year-old Li’l bit. Age flexible.
