Vision

The boutique studio will be the new residence for Peel the Limelight theatre company and will be the latest addition to Bangkok’s vibrant performing arts scene. Conveniently located a 5 minute walk from BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit stations, it is also the perfect venue for professionals and entrepreneurs of the creative industries interested in developing and presenting work that provokes, confronts and questions the public and our society.

The Peel the Limelight Studio will curate full seasons of shows, exhibitions, concerts, lectures and events that challenge the perception of what the theatrical experience should be. It will also serve as a lab to explore different facets of creativity for corporate employees, students and the general audience.

We call on artists, producers, entrepreneurs and professionals in the creative industries to apply to be a part of our program (including but not limited to dance, painting, photography, video, new media, conference, training, rehearsal, performance art, installations). A set of guidelines and regulations will be observed and a few projects or guest productions will be nominated and selected each season.

We have had an amazing collaboration with Spark Drama for the last three years! They introduced us to Jasmine City, and with the belief and support of the Jasmine City Group, we have managed to secure our own independent space from which to continue providing Bangkok and ASEAN audiences with unique, intimate and collective arts experiences
